Adam Ryan is the New Music programmer for the MAMA & Company Festivals. A role he has done for 3 years. He is responsible for programming The Great Escape Festival and in parts Lovebox, Wilderness and Somersault. Along side this role he also works as a Promoter, mainly booking artists into the MAMA & Co venues. Adam recently started consulting for the British Council and advises them on their Selector Live events. Prior to this role Adam worked as a National promoter and before that a venue based promoter at the Barfly in Camden. Discovering new music and spotting trends has been key to his job role and one he enjoys and actively partakes in. Going to gigs weekly to watch live music and networking with music industry is his passion.
אדם ריאן הוא מנהל התוכן ל״מוסיקה חדשה״ בחברת MAMA & Co Festivals. הוא בתפקיד זה מזה 3 שנים. הוא אחראי על התוכן בפסטיבל The Great Escape ובחלקים מפסטיבלים כמו Lovebox, Wilderness ו- Somersault. בנוסף, הוא עובד גם כפרומוטר, בעיקר עבור הוניו-ים של אותה חברה. לאחרונה החל אדם לייעץ ל״מועצה הבריטית״ בנוגע לאירועי הלייב שהיא מקיימת. בתפקידו הקודם אדם היה פרומוטר ארצי, ולפני כן מקומי במועדון בקאמדן, לונדון. לגלות מוסיקה חדשה ולזהות טרננדים הם המפתח להצלחה בתפקידיו וגם הדברים שהוא הכי נהנה לעשות. הכיף שלו זה ללכת להופעות חיות מדי שבוע כדי לשמוע מוסיקה ולהתחבר לתעשייה.

The Great Escape הוא הפסטיבל המוביל באירופה למוסיקה חדשה ולתעשיית מוסיקה חדשה. בשלוש השנים האחרונות מכר את כל הכרטיסים, ונכחו בו כ-3500 אנשי תעשייה ועוד 16,500 חובבי מוסיקה למשך שלושה ימים בברייטון. בפסטיבל מופיעים מעל 450 אמנים שמופיעים על פני 30 במות בנמצאות במרחק הליכה. הפסטיבל ידוע בעולם כאחד המקומות הטובים להשקת מוסיקאים ״חדשים״ לאנגליה ולעולם. כפסטיבל שמסתובב סביב ״גילוי כשרונות״ בשנים האחרונות הופיעו בהופעות קטנות ואינטימיות - The Maccabees, Alabama Shakes, Alt-J, Adele, Foals, Ed Sheeran, Mumfor & Sons. בנוסף להופעות מתקיימת ועידה למוסיקה חדשה בה נוכחים השמות הגדולים ביותר בתעשייה. בפסטיבל חוגג השנה יום הולדת 10.
