BearMoonTree is a new band creating live-electro-indie with a touch of rhythm and soul. The band was formed about a year ago, as singer-songwriter Adi Cohen, after two years of intense solo performances and studio work with Asaf avidan's producer Ori Winokur, gathered into one small basement in Tel Aviv some of Israel's most in demand young musicians: guitarist Yuval Vilner (Dida, Tzvika Force), Bassist Mati Gilad (Lola Marsh, Jane Bordaoux) and Drummer Daniel Azta (Brain Candies). Together they created a sound easily leaping between soulful groove, spaced dreamy atmosphere and delicate intimate moments. Though the band has been around for as little as one year, since going on stage BMT has played throughout Israel, collecting crowds and great reviews - "In the space between Radiohead in their rock-mood or PJ Harvey in her calm moments...with a tinge of black soul, and even some dream-rock as female voice floating over guitar sounds..."
