Recently named one of Israel's 5 new up and coming acts to follow by the online magazine The Culture Trip, Dorchin has been performing his dazzling take on the one-man-band tradition in clubs and festivals across Israel for the last 2 years, following on the heels of his critically acclaimed solo debut album, and is now ready to take it overseas. Dorchin's blend of blues, garage rock and groove is both fresh and raw, combining original lyrics with dirty guitar riffs and simple yet effective rhythm, leaving the crowd no other option but to move. Dorchin's one man band is his first solo project. In his resume are collaborations with some of Israel's leading acts (Asaf Avidan, Uzi Ramirez, Rona Kenan, The Greenbaums), collaborations with international blues artists (Rev. K.M. Williams, L.C. Ulmer) and opening for Bob Log III, Robert Cray and Woven Hand. In January 2014 Dorchin represented the Israeli Blues Society at the IBC in Memphis TN.
דני דורצ'ין מנגן שירים מקוריים בסגנון גראג'-רוק בלוזי, גרובי ומלוכלך, כשהרגליים על התופים, הידיים על הגיטרה, הריאות על מפוחית ושירה והלב עובד שעות נוספות. בשנתיים האחרונות הוא מופיע ללא לאות בפסטיבלים ומועדונים ברחבי הארץ ומעבר לים, ומחמם אמני בלוז בינלאומיים (LC Ulmer ,Rev. KM Williams) ואיקונות רוק מקומיות (פורטיס). זאת בעקבות אלבום הבכורה שלו שיצא בינואר 2014. "אחד התאים המוזיקליים הקטנים והנמרצים ביותר במוזיקה הישראלית העכשווית - הלהקה־של־איש-אחד של דני דורצ'ין… כשמקשיבים לאלבום, בלי לראות את דורצ'ין בפעולה, העובדה שהוא עושה הכל לבד ובלייב לא ברורה מאליה. רק המכות הגסות של הרגל בתוף מסגירות את הפורמט הלא שגרתי, וחרף עציותן המסוימת הן אינן פוגמות כהוא זה בהנאה הרבה שמסב האלבום. " (בן שלו, "הארץ") זהו פרוייקט הסולו הראשון של דורצ'ין אחרי שנים שבהן ניגן מפוחית עם הרכבים ואמנים רבים, בינהם אסף אבידן, רונה קינן, The Greenbaums ו Black Bruises. בימים אלו דני דורצ'ין בטור באירופה במהלכו יחמם את פאטי סמית במהלך פסטיבל בגרמניה.
