Leading the group is the 24 year old Alex Moshe. She met her first partner, Maor Shvartsberg, when they served in the army together under the musical department. Folly Tree’s first steps were when after a while of creative work together, they decided to expand and join Tal Tamari. Together they rehearsed in a one bedroom apartment in southern Tel Aviv and only later decided to add drummer Ran Jacobovitz, and occasionally a fifth player as well, to realize the group’s vision and enrich the crowd’s experience. During last two years the group played in and outside of their base city, Tel Aviv. After releasing an unofficial first EP they are now working eagerly on finishing their first album.
