Ryan Spaulding (https://twitter.com/theRSL) is one hell of a character. The music writer, a former TV actor and producer and international promoter lives in Boston, MA where he has published his observations and music ramblings (http://rslblog.com) since 2006. A Boston Music Award winner, Spaulding has been read by millions online, named as “One of the 100 Most Influential Music Blogs in the World” per Style of Sound, in 2014. Spaulding produced and hosted the CBS television show called “The Bubbler” which aired in the northeast US region via the myTV network. The show chronicled the rise of a modern, multi-genre generation of music from a region primarily known by most of the world for its punk and rock exports. Ryan’s artist-first work with Adam Duritz, of Counting Crows, resulted in The Outlaw Roadshow; the reoccurring travelling festival and national tour have left an indelible mark on a generation of American music lovers and artists, with the pair excited to expand globally this year. Ryan’s sharp wit, likable character and big personality make him the perfect host for a weekly radio program intended to showcase the best of today's music and culture, with an ear towards a oft-forgotten past. Outlaw Roadshow Radio airs on Saturdays 4-6pm EST (US) via New England's WEMF Radio. Big things are on the way. This is just the beginning.

About The Outlaw Roadshow
Tour organizer, music blogger, DJ and TV personality Ryan Spaulding met songwriter Adam Duritz during a press interview in 2008 as Counting Crows were set to release their Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings album. Complete strangers at the time, their scheduled eight-minute interview opened up into a world of ideas and in two-hours, the two became fast friends. Their discussion focused on their passions and influences and one recurring theme: they both knew the world was exploding with the influence of blogs, technology and the rise of new voices. The nature of music was changing and would never be the same. Keeping touch throughout the tour, Duritz and Spaulding vowed to combine forces on a project that would put musicians and their fans first. It was a novel concept at the time as the music industry of old, still maintained it was chugging along. Today, The Outlaw Roadshow and other organizations like it - understand that collaboration and are vital to survival, are emerging as the new reality. Spaulding hosted successful pop-up music events in the US before Counting Crows took ended up taking his opening bands on The Outlaw Roadshow tour. The Counting Crows album, Echoes of The Outlaw Roadshow is a collection of live-recorded, mostly under-exposed Counting Crow covers of songs that help illustrate the spirit and soul of those musical adventures. With appearances this year in New York, Austin, Nashville and now Tel Aviv, the legend of this unlikely sidewalk flower continues to grow. Along with musicians and fans, The Outlaw has welcomed painters, videographers, designers, winemakers and a world of professional partners into their fold. The rewards for participating in the Outlaw family extend long after the last note at each show has sounded.
