The feminine duo Shelly & Rotem (SANDR) creates unusual music in the local view. Their deep lyrics are carried by dreamy melodies and hypnotising electro-acoustic productions, combining to a fascinating, one of its kind musical experience. Using only a guitar, keyboard, two voices and 19 years of life experience, Shelly and Rotem define a new musical genre. Shelly and Rotem have been marked by many, artist and listeners as one, as the voice of a fresh innovation to the Israeli music scene. It is no surprise that they have collected a loving fan base all around the country, and collaborated with some of Israel's top musicians, including Noam Rotem, Ram Orion and Ellyott. On august 2013 Shelly and Rotem have released their first EP, "Between Shores", produced by Tom Darom (Balkan Beat Box, Asaf Avidan, Efrat Gosh and more). The EP has received the critics' praises and the audience's love. On November 2014 they have released the single "Eternal Loop of Lies" that has also drawn much attention, and was played on the main Israeli radio stations.
הצמד הנשי שלי ורותם (SANDR) יוצר מוזיקה יוצאת דופן בנוף המקומי. המילים העמוקות שלהן נשואות על מנגינות חלומיות, ועטופות בעיבודים אלקטרו-אקוסטים מהפנטים, כשהכל משתלב לחוויה מוזיקלית מרתקת וראשונה מסוגה בארץ. כשלרשותן בסך הכל גיטרה, קלידים, שני קולות ו-19 שנים של ניסיון חיים, שלי ורותם מגדירות ז'אנר מוזיקלי חדש. שלי ורותם סומנו כבר על-ידי רבים, מאזינים ואמנים כאחד, כבעלות בשורה חדשנית ומרעננת למוזיקה הישראלית, ולכן אין זה מפתיע שזכו לקהל אוהב בכל רחבי הארץ וששיתפו פעולה עם מוזיקאים מהבולטים בישראל, לרבות נעם רותם, רם אוריון ואליוט. באוגוסט 2013 ראה אור האי.פי הראשון שלהן, “Between Shores”, בהפקתה המוזיקלית של תום דרום (אפרת גוש, אסף אבידן, תומר יוסף ועוד), אשר זכה לתשבוחות המבקרים ולאהבת הקהל. בנובמבר 2014 הוציאו את הסינגל Eternal Loop of Lies, שזכה גם הוא לתשומת לב רבה והשמעות בתחנות הרדיו בארץ (גלגלצ, 88fm ועוד).
