Tetish are Itai Shitrit and Etan Salomon, both active musicians in the Tel-Aviv Indie music scene, arriving at this project after each releasing individual and successful albums. While releasing our individual projects, we started playing around with some songs. This gradually became the most powerful creative process we have ever experienced before. It formed a mixture of all our musical influences: rock, electronic features, our classical background as well as unique musical elements from the middle-eastern surrounding we live in. Gradually, after intense home recordings and pre-productions, we started to work on our live act. We formed our band with our amazing musician friends: Nir Shlomo (guitars), Noam Shacham (Bass) and Daniel Azta (drums). This past year, Tetish have performed mostly locally, playing in Tel-Aviv's live and kicking Indie scene. All of Tetish’s demos, who have been shared online, were played by two of the country’s biggest radio stations. Tetish have also been embraced by the city's coolest venues, attracting music lovers and creating the right buzz. This May, Tetish had the honour of being the only Israeli band selected to play at CMW (Canadian Music Week) in Toronto. After three days of showcasing, networking and meeting some of the most amazing people in the music industry, we are determined to proceed and accomplish our international aspirations, play and release our music worldwide. These days we are recording our debut EP, to be released later this year. Stay tuned!
