YUAR is a new zestful and pitching indie-pop band. YUAR engages elements of electronic, classical, mainstream, ethnic, rock and dance music. Founded in 2011 by Yury Poisik and Arina Popova in Moscow, the band is now active in Israel touring through the country. Arina has made a powerful local debut participating in Israeli based version of the world show, The Voice, presenting a bright entrance of the alternative color. YUAR has a rich story of musical involvement into the cinematic and TV production, custom music composing and live performances. At the moment the band has already issued two singles in Israel, and now releases a debut EP “Signal” recorded with contributing producer, sound engineer and electronic artist Dimitry Lifshits in his studio Soundroll. The YUAR style features vivid, bright, and melodic music, catching every ear. Arina’s voice is deep, powerful, sweet, and ultimately sensual. The arrangements by YUAR surround this voice into sparkling, rich and sophisticated sound ornament, from which a listener never wants to escape. YUAR does not pursue the eclectic for the sake of the moment as each composition has its own face. YUAR rather creates the elegance and fashion than follows convenient guidelines. The band members, Arina and Yury, are well known by their work outside the YUAR framework in Israel and Russia. Arina has conquered the heart of the Russian audience during more than ten years’ work with the Russian folk and rock artists. Yury arranged songs and played guitar with several Israeli and Russian Bands (Doroga Jongo, Front South, Fruktovy Kefir, Mucha). During their work with the RMF band, Arina and Yury have recorded a full scale album that was released in 2008 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by European label “Ministry of Sound”.
